QUANTITY – We have a minimum of 12 pieces per artwork design. If you have 2 different designs for printing, this will result in 2 different set ups.
BRAND OR STYLE – Certain brands or styles may be more expensive than others but our sales representatives will assist you in making the right decision to fit your budget.
PRINT LOCATIONS – The amount of locations that your artwork will be placed on the apparel. If you have a full front, full back, and sleeve print, this will result in 3 different set-ups and a bit higher of a cost instead of a full front, one sided print.
ARTWORK – The amount of colors in your artwork. Each color will require it’s own screen for printing. The more colors that your artwork entails, the more time for set-up that is required.
Our graphic artists work with your new or existing artwork to separate the colors.
Each color is outputted to its own transparency film which is used in the exposing process.
Please consider the following when submitting your own artwork:
Even though you are submitting your own created artwork, there will still be a one time $40 artwork charge. This is because your artwork has to be outputted to transparency films for exposing, which requires valuable time from our art department.
In most cases, your artwork will require an “underbase” screen when printing. This is a layer of white ink to act as a barrier against the shirt color and the colored ink in your artwork. If you are printing on white shirts, an underbase is not necessary.
Sometimes simple is better! The more colors that are in your artwork, the more screens that are required for printing, which will result in a higher cost. Keep the amount of colors low to keep the cost low as well.
